TRANSPORTATION
Located in the heart of Wrangell St. Elias National Park, the Dan Creek property is surrounded by absolute wilderness access to the property is therefore limited to small bush aircraft, snowmachines and four-wheel-drive rigs. McCarthy, Alaska, is the point of departure for most charter flights and freighting of material and has a number of small businesses catering to the success of any Dan Creek endeavor. A number of bed and breakfasts, two lodges, two air services and a general contractor offering heavy freight service are locally owned and operated by people knowledgeable about operating in the wilderness.
