Living at Dan Creek provides the opportunity for many types of outdoor recreation; hiking, hunting, backcountry snowmachine exploration, hobby mining, metal detecting and gardening. Dan Creek offers a primitive lifestyle; no utilities, hauling drinking water,cutting firewood and very little road infrastructure, however, phone and internet is available with Copper Valley Wireless, in Glennallen. In addition Verizon has a roaming agreement with Copper Valley Wireless so there is Verizon phone and internet service in the area.
